SMASH!!!
Today I have decided to make a SMASH journal. I will be using a journal I already have instead of buying one of the actual SMASH journals by K & Co., too expensive for me. You can check out the video if you have no idea what a SMASH journal is.
I have many a things I would like to put in here, sticking to it on a regular basis is going to be the issue. Not to mention I need a printer so I can print off some things, like photos I take or find stuff online I like. Although I'm sure my journal will start looking weird after it starts getting fuller because it is not a spiral, oh well it will be unique, part of the journal process.

Still Suckered
We still have no internet so still reduced to going to Micky D's. Today I am actually at my crazy relatives, visiting my Grandparents who are here till Wed. I am so glad I no longer live in this house with these crazy people. They would seriously have drove me to the nut house!!!
I so can't wait till we get internet at the house so I can do stuff online. I hate having to drive all the way to Micky D's for only a few hours only to have to turn around and drive home to get Princess Brat.
Well I guess until I can get back on here daily it will be updates every now and then.

Internet connection...
I hate not having any internet connection. I basically have no contact with my friends and I can't blog. I am sure since I'm using my phone to connect to the internet and I don't have a data plan our cell phone bill will be a bit higher this month. Hope to get internet really soon.

10 Years...
Since the Twin Towers were struck and fell, the Pentagon struck and Flight 93 crash, 10 years ago A LOT has changed.
- Bnanas has been deployed 3 times
- My cousin's boyfriend was KIA on his 2nd and last tour of duty.
- A very near and dear friend of mine died and I miss him everyday.
- Airport travel is a pain, but much more safer since 9-11.
I remember where I was the day this very tragic event happened. I was a Sophomore in high school. When the first tower was struck I changing classes. When the next class started a teacher came in and whispered to my Science teacher to turn on the tv. I actually saw the second plane hit. Everyone thought it was a preview for a movie. Teachers were told to turn off tvs over the intercom and students were sent home. I remember at home watching the towers fall, hearing about the pentagon, and Flight 93. Many tears fell that day and I hope I never have to live through something so awful again.
So today I will remember, reflect, and pray for those affected and the troops still fighting.

Spanking Applauded...
While working on the house yesterday, Bnanas asked Princess Brat to empty out the back of his truck so he could go get more supplies, while him and I finished putting up the last few sheets. There wasn't much stuff in the back of the truck. From what I remember just a gas can, towing lights, a few pieces of scrap metal, and some tools. Yes it was raining, but not pouring, more like a light sprinkle.
Bnanas asked Princess Brat to empty the back of his truck, she went outside was out for maybe all of about 5 seconds before she came in and said "I'm not moving your stuff you are too lazy to move yourself." I don't recall all of the dialect that went on, but I do remember him telling her, "If you aren't going to help you can sit on the couch and do nothing." Somewhere between there and when she got 'placed' on the couch he spanked her for talking back. Last words I heard (because he raised his voice to get her to sit down) "I am not your mother. I will not let you get away with the stuff she lets you get away with at home."
She ended up sitting on the couch for most of the day. She got to sleep, if it had been me punishing her she wouldn't have gotten to sleep. Would have sat there and done nothing all day awake.
I am so glad he finally broke down and spanked her for misbehaving!!!

Yesterday
September 2nd. The worst news anyone could get while going through a deployment and something someone so young never should have to do. My cousin's boyfriend of five years was KIA (killed in action). This was supposed to be his last tour before he left to start his life after the military, sad to say it didn't happen.
I have many questions that wander through my mind from time to time when something like this happens. The biggest one being only three letters long. WHY? I know God has a plan for all of us whether we live to be newborn or old and gray, but why must he take them when they are young? As I said, the man upstairs has a plan for all of us, I just don't understand his logic sometimes. <~~~Hope that last line made some sorta sense.
I can only imagine what she has been through the last year and more to come, but I can't imagine. I believe the only people that ever know what she is going through are her fellow "war widows" or those who have lost a spouse. Ugly term I know! May my cousin continue to be as strong as she has been for the past year.
It takes two people to properly remember someone...one person to say a name and the other person to hear it.
You are gone, but will NEVER be forgotten. RIP Marine.

Busy Busy Busy
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, no entries since Wed. Bnanas and I have been busy working on the new house so we can HOPEFULLY be out of this piece of crap rental. All we have left to put up is ceilings and a few walls. The ac should be done by either Mon or Tues. Not sure when the cabinet guy is coming to install the cabinets, hoping really soon, especially if we are to be in there by the end of this month or before our rent is due on this hell hole.

Autumn
Jack Frost. Halloween. The Great Pumpkin. Thanksgiving. Pilgrims and Indians. Indian Summer. Fall Back. Oktoberfest. Cornucopia overflowing. Leaves with the multitudes of yellows, oranges, and fiery reds. Hoodies. Busting out rakes. Jumping in piles of leaves. Crisp air. Cool breezes with the smell of Autumn. Squirrels gathering nuts. Pumpkin pie. Pecan pie. Apple pie. Apple cider. Leaves rustling.
I miss Autumn in Virginia. Especially at my parents house. I love the smell of the air, the feel of the atmosphere and the smell of their house. It always smells sooooo good there, a crisp fall with the smell of cinnamon and nutmeg
Dear Autumn hurry up and get here please!!!

Day TWO of WAR
While Bnanas and I were working on the new house today, I had to leave to go pick up MB from the bus. MB and I get back to the house (we won't let her stay alone at the other house). First thing that comes out of her mouth when we get to the house we are working on are: "How long do I have to be here?"
Never mind that we were working on her bathroom and bedroom. Bnanas ignores her and tells her that she needs to go get her homework so she can work on it since she can't help with the sheet rock. She storms off my mustang and decides that she wants to do her homework there. I am off in another room taking measurements and putting strips on the ceiling joist (which happen to be two feet apart, so we can screw up the dry every sixteen inches, so the sheet rock will be more secure), when I hear him yell: "Bring your homework in here." Not once but twice. Bnanas comes back to the room I happened to working in at the time, mentioning: "There go her TV privileges." He leaves the room to go measure more sheet rock, I follow to grab my Power Aide. I told him looking out the front door to my car: "You need to go out there and get here out of the car."
Five minutes later I hear screaming and yelling followed by stomps across the front deck. "This is so unfair, why do I have to come in here and read? I wanna go home (the other house)." (Now at this point in time, if that had been my child I would have beat her ass, there is no reason to act like that.) "Where do you expect me to sit?" I am guessing he shows her where, I heard no return answer. I walk out a few minutes later to grab another swallow of my Power Aide, she is sitting in the bar stools next to the open window where there is a nice cool breeze. Bnanas goes back to measuring and cutting sheet rock, while I'm marking out the distance for the strips and screwing the strips to the joist.
Some time later I hear "I am done." (Since MB arrived after school started here she is behind by about a week and a half. Because the child is lazy she only does the minimum amount of work listed on the sheet, but if she wasn't behind it would be okay). This is what I remember hearing:

- Bnanas: "Keep reading."
- MB: "What? Why?"
- Bnanas: "Because you have nothing better to do at the moment and you are behind."
- MB: "No I'm not!"
- Bnanas: "Yes you are. Your teacher emailed me and told me what all is due."
MB is crying and yelling at this point.
- MB: "This isn't fair. I only have to read 35 pages a night."
- Bnanas: "Not till you are caught up."
- MB: "I am caught up."
- Bnanas: "So you are telling me that you have read two books and this is your third book?"
- MB: "Yes!"
- Bnanas: "So you'd be lying."
- MB: "So?"
- Bnanas: "Do I need to was your mouth out with soap? That's what happens when you lie."
- MB: "Soap is gross."
- Bnanas: "Keep reading."
- MB: "No, I am not going to do any more I only have to read 35 pages and I read 40."
MB then gets up and storms out to the front porch. Bnanas returns to the room I am in with the next sheet of sheet rock. I tell him: "You need to bust her ass." After a while, I guess she forgets all about the recent events and comes to the room we are working on. She asked me: "Do you want to read my story I wrote?"
I tell her: "Sure." I read her little story, it was actually pretty good. She decides to help with handing screws to us and helping me hold up the sheet rock on my side.
Some time later when MB gets bored, she starts asking: "When are we going home?" Bnanas was working on putting up the last sheet of sheet rock in the room we were working on (it was completely sheet rocked except one area) and I was putting the strips on the ceiling joist.
- Bnanas: "When we are done."
- MB: "When will that be?"
- Bnanas: "When we get done."
- MB: "When? I need to go home, eat dinner, shower and go to bed." Storming off.
At this point she refused to help do anything Bnanas asked her to do. A few moments later
- MB: "When are we going home?"
- ME: " Can you give us 10 minutes!"
I had had it with her damn attitude. I was hot, exhausted, itchy from doing insulation, and my body was killing me from doing all that we had done in the day. I told him in a low voice: "You need to bust her butt." After I put up the last strip and handed him the screw to screw in the end for the night, I told him: "She is riding home with you and I get a shower first."
I have no idea what they talked about on the way home, once parked she came storming out of his truck towards the house. I didn't care I was headed towards the shower, before I got in I did tell him: "She needs to get her stuff out of my car." And I booked it to the shower. AH!!! It felt so good. I guess while I was in Bnanas called her mother, MB was on the phone talking to here when I walk into the living room. Don't care what went on after that. I got my bowl of cereal and chilled out. Bnanas had her eat, shower and go to bed. Guess we will see how tomorrow goes if we make it there tomorrow (Bnanas has to go to Birmingham to pick up his father's car). We shall see.

War Zone
This house is a WAR ZONE, between her not listening to her father and receiving bad grades at school, the yelling, screaming and talking back is getting pretty bad. If I had ever talked to my parents like she does to her father, my ass would have been BUSTED with a belt or wooden paddle, which ever was closest at the time. He finally had to break down after twenty minutes of WAR going on and tell her that if she didn't start behaving, the tantrums, stomping around, doors slamming, and disrespecting didn't stop that he is gonna start bending her over his knee.
WOOHOO FINALLY!
To top things off this child things her mother is a God. I know why she thinks that of her mother, because she lets her get away with anything, as can be seen in My Household is Mine. Not to mention every child thinks their mother is a God (unless the child just plain hates their mother, doesn't have one or etc., hopefully not).
The only thing that drowns out the noise are earbuds I use to listen to music. Even then I can still hear her, which is sad. The louder I turn up my music, the louder she gets and with earbuds in I can only handle so high of a volume. It makes me wanna scream over them...HELLO there is someone else here. You two need to hash this out in turns, I swear they need a mediator. Please, please, pleeeeeeeease someone send a mediator.
H2O

Back to my original idea for this post. So I have decided cut back on my meals, cut out sweets and junk food. Yes, yes, yes the D word. Diet!!! I prefer to think of it as change of life. Starting once I get into the new house I will be going back to my exercising. Especially Turbo Fire, I miss it so. Not to mention the TON of energy you get after working out. Don't care to bathe in my sweat but working out is sooooooooo worth it.
So come grocery shopping time (which happens to be coming up really fast) if it's not good for me it doesn't get bought. More HEALTHY foods go into the cart this time. If it is bad and comes into the house I will resist the evil forces at work.

Not So Happily Ever After
I came across a high-school friend's facebook page tonight and noticed that she's not married anymore. I've also noticed that most A LOT of my friends are getting divorced or already are divorced. Here I sit at 27, not married once. Does that make me bizarre? After many minutes of thinking...NAH!
SERIOUSLY, I swear 2011 is the year of carnage. If you make through 2011 I would like to congratulate you. Oh, and that's not just for married couples. If you make it through this year with your relationship, partnership, friendship, whatevership still intact CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Back to the divorces. Yes, I know that when my friends got married they didn't know somewhere down the long windy road they'd be divorced after so many years. I also know that instead of making thing worse by staying together divorce became the only option to keep them sane.
Not sure why I decided to blog about this tonight...wait...no...wait...yes I do. Guess I just had to get it off of my brain before I could peacefully sheet surf. What I could type out with my mentally exhausted brain, I hope makes sense. Off to sheet surf on the bed waves!!!
